- π Shipping Days β Live ant orders are dispatched Monday to Wednesday to avoid weekend delays, ensuring prompt and safe delivery.
- π Express Delivery Services β All live ant shipments are sent via reliable express carriers, guaranteeing arrival within 1β3 business days.
- π Eligible Delivery Areas β We only ship to regions where overnight or two-day shipping options are available, minimizing transit time and reducing stress on the ants.
- π¦ Specialized Packaging β We use insulated packaging with heat or cold packs as necessary to maintain a stable and comfortable environment during transit.
β³ Order Processing
- βοΈ Processing Time β Orders are typically processed within 1β2 business days after payment confirmation. Live ant orders may require additional preparation time to ensure secure and safe shipping.
- π© Order Confirmation β Once shipped, you will receive an email notification with your tracking number and a link to monitor your shipment's progress.
π° Shipping Rates
- π Live Ant Orders β Shipping costs for live ants are calculated based on the destination and selected shipping method at checkout. Additional fees may apply for insulated packaging and temperature control packs to ensure the antsβ safety.
- π¦ Non-Live Items β Shipping fees for supplies, enclosures, and other non-live products are calculated at checkout based on package weight and delivery location.
π‘οΈ Weather-Related Shipping Adjustments
- β οΈ Extreme Weather Conditions β We reserve the right to postpone shipments if extreme temperatures pose a risk to the antsβ safety. If a delay occurs, we will notify you and arrange the earliest possible shipping date.
- π Receiving Your Package β Stay informed about local weather conditions, and ensure someone is available to receive the package immediately upon delivery to minimize stress on the ants.
π Delivery Issues and Delays
- β Accurate Shipping Information β Customers are responsible for providing correct and complete shipping details. We are not liable for delivery issues resulting from incorrect addresses.
- π¦ Receiving Shipments β Someone must be available to accept live ant deliveries upon arrival. We are not responsible for loss or damage due to unattended packages.
While we strive to adhere to all delivery schedules, certain factors beyond our controlβsuch as carrier delays, adverse weather, or customs inspectionsβmay impact delivery times. If delays occur:
- π’ Communication β We will notify you via email of any significant delays and work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
- π€ Customer Support β Our team is available to assist with any concerns related to delayed shipments.
π Refunds, Replacements, and Restocking Fees
- π APHIS Compliance β If an order includes a species not permitted in your state, it will be automatically canceled and refunded, minus a 5% restocking fee, as per our policy. This fee covers administrative costs associated with processing restricted orders.
- π Customers are responsible for the shipping costs of replacement ants. If a replacement is issued under our Dead on Arrival (DOA) Guarantee or 14-Day Health Guarantee, the customer must cover the shipping fees for the new shipment.
